Ownership without borrowed credentials
Niibawi Security is Indigenous owned, as represented by the business owner. That identity should be supported by the documentation appropriate to your procurement process, rather than by decorative imagery or an assumption about the people shown on a website.
The illustrative uniform scenes on this site do not identify Niibawi’s leadership or actual personnel. Leadership names, biographies and portraits will only be published with approval. No specific Nation, community affiliation or governance role is inferred.
Discuss the evidence your procurement requires
Tell us which ownership, directory or supplier-diversity records your organization needs to review. Current registry and membership evidence must match the relevant entity and be checked at the time of procurement.
This site does not claim a particular certification, security clearance, licence or automatic eligibility for an Indigenous procurement program. Those are distinct matters with their own requirements.
A practical conversation with Indigenous organizations
Describe the setting, the people affected, your organization’s priorities and the responsibilities you want included. Identify who should participate in planning and how local protocols or community expectations should be communicated. Do not assume that one approach is appropriate for every Indigenous organization or community.
